A General Study of Light Gauge Steel Structures – A Review

In general, Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) sections are widely used in worldwide industrial building component construction. Because of adopting CFS, more advantages overcome in Hot Rolled Steel (HRS) Sections. The present work deals with the various CFS sections have been applicable in special features like, high fire resistance, minimum local buckling, high flexural strength, adequate seismic response and bracing performance. Especially, the CFS hollow sections are have a high loading rates and applicable of infill material (geopolymer concrete) bring best result in joints in building elements. The different characters are specified applicable in various building parts such as main walls, shear wall panels, tension member, compression members and roof elements etc., Finally CFS sections performing under good condition for finite element analysis were studied.

SRP Based Shared Resource Protecting in Cloud Environment

The cloud computing is the predominant change happening in the domain of information technology. At present a major concern in cloud adoption is towards its security and privacy. In the advancement of cloud computing the application part of virtualization eventually increases, the scope of the security and privacy gradually expands. The users avail the cloud technology for two major factors that is Data privacy and security. Cloud security delivers all the services based on users need- firewalls, URL filters, sandboxes, SSL inspection, antivirus and the rest in a unified platform .It is a airtight security without the cost and complexity of appliances which closes the security gaps created by BYOD and mobility. Even though cloud computing provides security there are some backlogs.The lack of data redundancy and compliance standards risks the cloud security.This paper presents the security algorithm by using SRP protocol which is a strong authentication protocol(one time guess per connection attempt) that resist all wellknown active and passive attack over the network.

A Review on Open source tools for Internet of Things

Many open source tools are available for Internet of Things. This work analyse those tools as a basic research for the area of Internet of Things.

Modified Empirical Mobile Radio Path Loss model for Indoor Propagation

Site specific path loss modeling is a major requirement in the indoor environment, to achieve a good quality of the received signal and improve the performance of wireless systems. The need is to optimize the existing propagation models and suggest accurate, reliable and flexible models. In this paper, a modified empirical indoor propagation model is suggested to model the path loss of the mobile radio signals at 2.4 GHz in a better manner. The experimental scenario is an indoor corridor with three glass partitions in the building of Deccan College of Engineering and Technology at Hyderabad. The received mobile signal strengths are collected at specific distances of 1m up to 10 m in the corridor. The available indoor empirical models are implemented and based on comparison with measurements, Motley – Kennan model is selected for optimization. The modification is done by including break points at the locations of the partitions and additionally including glass reflection coefficient and polarization mismatch in the analysis. The path loss exponents used in the computations are determined statistically by Minimum Mean Square Error method. The modified model improves the path loss by 0.68 db compared to the original model. It has the lesser values of Mean Error (4.398), Mean Square Error (26.79) and RMSE (5.17) compared to the original model. The results validate the performance of the modified model to estimate the path loss of the mobile radio signals in an improved manner.
